Whether your family tree runs through the rich soil of the Carolinas, or you've never even stepped foot upon that part of the world, New Bern will weave it's way into your soul like a twisting Virginia Creeper vine...not to choke you out, but to embrace you as part of a story bigger than all of us....the story of men and women made of tough stuff, that settled this land...with all of their heroics and flaws laid out there like the tide that washes the Outer Banks.
